There’s a scripture in the Bible in Matthew 5:45 that says it rains on the righteous and the unrighteous. This scripture means that good and bad things happen to everyone. Whether you’re successful at life or not; whether you’re a novice or a master of your craft, there will always be ups and downs to face.
One thing I’ve struggled with since I was a kid was depression. Oftentimes, there’s no logical reason for it. It’s usually some minor trigger that launches a series of thoughts which causes me to hit the ground – and oftentimes, pretty hard.
The other day I was feeling pretty depressed and in my attempts to get through my daily tasks, I just couldn’t bring myself to complete them. Instead, I opted to sulking in my bed with the lights off and the TV as my only means of comfort.
Today in this video, I want to talk to you about what it was like and what helped me to get over my depression. I want to encourage you to apply this trick yourself whenever you feel things just aren’t going your way:
